ABOUT THE NETWORK

Radio is better connected.

A volunteer-supported digital voice and RF-to-IP linking community rooted in Southwest Louisiana.

Connecting operators, networks and communities

SWLA-LINK provides multiple ways for amateur radio operators to connect, including digital voice and linked analog networks. The network supports everyday conversations, scheduled nets, and weather awareness.

Welcoming the amateur radio community

Licensed amateur radio operators, clubs and repeaters from across the world are welcome on SWLA-LINK. The network is supported by volunteer work and voluntary donations.

Weather readiness

SWLA-LINK provides infrastructure useful for trained SKYWARN operators. It is not a replacement for emergency services or official National Weather Service channels.
